Sonepat district was established on 22 Dec. 1972 under the notification no. 6050-E-72/45724. Sonipat was separated from Rohtak and earned fame in Haryana and got a reward of satellite mega city. In 37 years this district developed gradually and that day is not so far, when it become an alternative of Delhi.

Great pawan, thanks for the info and Happy birthday to my sonipat district. And now sonepat is the one of the Seven cities in india selected for the Mega City Township Project.

What advantage will Sonipat get with declaration of Megacity township project, can you give an idea, i visited Sonipat today only looking for a cheap piece of land

definitely Sonipat will get the huge benefit after declaring Megacity Township project. And I think it is right time to purchase land or invest in property in sonipat. Tarun, Please share your experience about your visit to sonipat. btw, where are you from Tarun?
